
Ky Chow joined the Sky News Business Channel after a career spanning professional services, marketing and broadcast journalism.
In Australia, Ky has interviewed prominent company CEOs such as Ralph Norris, Steven Lowy and Geoff Dixon, and secured an exclusive interview with Gail Kelly on Westpac's announcement of its historic takeover for St George.
Ky has also gone head to head with some of Australia's most accomplished company directors, including David Gonski, Rod McGeogh, Dick Warburton and Kevin McCann, as well as public sector leaders such as ASIC Chairman Tony D'Aloisio.
He has also interviewed global business heavyweights such as World Trade Organisation Director-General Pascal Lamy, Daimler Chairman Dieter Zetsche and Airbus CEO Tom Enders.
As a radio journalist at SBS, Ky interviewed a diverse lineup of subjects from the Commonwealth Attorney-General and Governor-General, to ethnic community leaders and Hiroshima survivors.
Before journalism, Ky worked at Macquarie Bank and the Commonwealth Bank marketing and managing a range of investment products. As a presenter with CommSec, he delivered share market reports via live radio and streaming video.
Ky began his career at KPMG as a consultant, giving advice on complex tax, legal and risk management issues such as the new Privacy Act and Financial Services Reform. During this time he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
Ky holds a Master of Business in Marketing, a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, a Bachelor of Laws and a Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Outside work, Ky is an enthusiastic volunteer with charities such as the St Vincent de Paul Society and the Starlight Children’s Foundation. He is also a keen basketball player and cyclist.
