Kylie has been working in broadcast media for 15 years as a television and radio reporter, producer and presenter; most of that time specialising in business and finance news and information.
Kylie began her career as a general news reporter with Prime Television in Orange, where she later became Chief of Staff. In 2000 Kylie moved to Sydney and joined Palamedia where she provided financial news and commentary to clients including Sky News, the Seven Network, the Macquarie and Southern Cross Radio Networks and the Fairfax Press.
In 2006, Kylie co-founded Pinstripe Media, a niche production company specialising in business and finance media. She was the Associate Producer of My Business TV (now Kochie’s Business Builders) on the Seven Network and a regular contributor to My Business Magazine.
Kylie returned to Sky News in 2007 and in January 2008 launched Sky News Business, of which she is now Channel Manager. She holds a BA (Broadcast Journalism) from Charles Sturt University and an MBA (Exec) from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
