Nadine Blayney joined the Sky News Business Channel with experience on two continents covering both international and local news.
Immediately before joining the Business Channel, Nadine reported on world markets and Australian companies for the Finance News Network, Australia's leading online provider of finance and business video news.
Nadine was also a journalist for Australian Broker magazine where, in addition to local trends, she wrote about the US sub-prime meltdown and its global fallout. She interviewed Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan, John Symond and other key players in the Australian finance and property markets.
Before moving to Australia in 2006, Nadine hosted a live national morning show for The Weather Network in her native Canada, covering national and international weather events and environmental issues. Nadine's ability to effectively communicate such information earned her an endorsement from the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society.
In addition to her wide-ranging broadcast experience, Nadine built a solid foundation as a reporter, news writer, producer and researcher after graduating with a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa.
